LIVING PROOF OF HISTORY
I'm living proof of history. How you may ask! Well Martin Luther King Jr. & Rosia Parks made history and I live now to be standing proof of it. I live in a society of freedom and able to have any belief as I please without being killed over. I'm black living in a some what fair society where I'm not judged because of my race. Just as in Freedom Writers Gerda & Zlata was living proof of history because she lived to tell her story!!!!!

"FEELING TRAPPED IN A CAGE"
WHEN I WAS TWO YEARS OLD
I USE TO LIVE WITH MY DAD,AND MY AUNT AND COUSIN
CAME TO LIVE WITH US. DAD AND AUNT HAD TO
GO TO WORK DURING THAT TIME OF THE SUMMER,
SO MY COUSIN HAD TO WATCH ME TILL THEY GOT OFF.
SO ONE DAY HE PUSHED THE COUCH BY THE CONER
AND PUT ME BEHIND IT. THEN HE DREW A DOT ON THE WALL
AND DREW SOME LEGS ON IT. HE TOLD ME IT WAS A SPIDER,
SO I WAS SCARED N STARTED CRYING CAUSE I COULDN'T GET OVER THE COUCH
AND I REALLY THOUGHT IT WAS A SPIDER FOR REAL.
:-) HE DID THIS ALMOST EVERYDAY THAT HE HD TO KEEP ME
BUT THEN I FIGURED OUT HOW TO GET OVER THE COUCH AND ALSO THAT THE SPIDER WAS JUST A DOT!!!

FRESHMEN YEAR (1994) OF FREEDOM WRITERS
The freshmen year was alot to take in
for the kids because they dealt with so
much.Segregation,bullying,
undeclared war,and alot of revenge.The childeren segregated their selves by race.Sometimes they were even against their own kind.Some were even being bullied pyhsically and mentallly.Some were getting shot coming off the bus.Some where bullied by people drawing false pictures of students.As an example Sharaud, the class clown.The undelcared war happened everyday it was between color and race which the freedom writers feel will never end!!!
